A live count of homeowner heat-pump enquiries submitted through heatpumpcosts.co.uk — broken down by property, heating fuel, region and timeframe. Free to cite under CC BY 4.0.
Methodology
- Source: quote requests submitted to /get-quotes.
- Aggregation: count of distinct submissions per dimension bucket, recomputed on-demand by the editorial team.
- Privacy floor: any bucket with fewer than 25 submissions is suppressed. No personal data, names, contact details or full postcodes are released — postcode is truncated to the outward area (first two characters).
- Limitations: this is a sample of homeowners actively researching heat pumps online, not a population estimate. It is biased towards owner-occupiers in England, Wales and Scotland.
